Halloween and Sammy's Birthday |
||
|
The best part about Halloween with a toddler is getting to dress him up as a giraffe, which we got to do for the Halloween party at daycare. Of course, Sammy didn't want to wear the hood, but that's okay. His birthday party was supposed to be the next day, but we had to move it to Sunday because of the Red Sox parade. Apparently, the fascination with the giraffe costume was gone by then, because he refused to wear it (repeating the phrase, "no giraffe", accompanied by a vigorous head-shaking) at what was supposed to be a costume party. We did, however, have a cowgirl, a fairy, and a surprise appearance by Johnny Damon. And the cake was enjoyed by all. |
