Ice Skating with Andrew Tetreault Brown |
I've only been ice skating a few times in my life, but I'm from southern New England. Heather and Peter are both from really cold places, so Andrew is going to grow up loving the ice. To celebrate winter, we visited the local MDC rink on President's Day weekend, in February, and we had a great time. Andrew and I didn't even fall down once!
The first few photos are actually from the night before. We went out to dinner at Vinny Testa's, and as you can see, Andrew had a garlic-heavy meal. Actually, most of the meal ended up on his lap, but he still brushed his teeth.
Here we are at the skating rink. Everybody fussed over Andrew, who was just too cute in his winter outfit. Of course, there were no skates his size, but that will come in due time, I'm sure. You'll notice there are no action shots of me. That's just because I had the camera, not because I was glued to the boards!
After the excitement of skating, it was back to Casa Beacon for some well-deserved lunch and quality time with Diego, the panda we rescued from the San Diego zoo.
