Hawaii |
I have long maintained that coming home is one of my favorite things about a vacation. This theory was blown to pieces when Jennifer and I had to return from a vacation in Hawaii recently. It was just too beautiful, and the trip was just too short. We traveled, as we often do, with Eric Bird and Valerie Wright. Eric's parents own a condo on Maui, where we stayed for the first six days, and then we went to Honolulu for a few more days. It feels like we did everything -- we bicycled down a volcano, hiked in a rainforest, saw some whales, went to a Luau, saw Pearl Harbor, and swam with the fishes -- but we still have a full itinerary planned for our next trip, whenever that is. I've posted the pictures here in the order we took them, and we'll be writing about them in more detail as soon as we can. At this point, all of the pictures are up, and I've broken them up by day. Enjoy!
